As for a career path, I've been pretty dead set on electrical engineering for a long time, but during this internship I learned the importance of understanding machining and fabrication. It's really quite important to know how things are made and go together. So even as an electrical engineer I think its really important to be able to fabricate something on the fly, its really quite handy.
